I'm back. Even tough I'm being led to assume by lack of comments that no one checks this. Ever.
But oh well. I shall persist. Too tired and lazy to post any artwork or anything of note, really. Just felt like reassuring you, the reader, and myself that there is still some point in this whole blogging business. So I (along with the help of my incredibly patient and helpful girlfriend) have integrated this blog into the layout of my website. Which apparently does get hits. about four per day.

THE BADASS

I found an interesting texture to test out the technique I want to use for this western idea, and while I was at it, redesigned my main character. Again, it's loosely based on samurai brush paintings, with a very cartoony twist. More to come...

More production design stuff for the western. Still working on a title. All I got so far is "Lone Badass." Which is dumb, but fitting for the story idea I have.

A production design sketch for the animated western Idea.
The style is loosely based on old Japanese brush paintings. I thought it would be fitting seeing as how a lot of westerns were based on Samurai films from the 50's and 60's. (Seven Samurai, Magnificent Seven and the like.)
